Description
- Drafting and Reviewing: Prepare, review, and amend a variety of contracts including and not limited to: commercial, customer, supplier, NDA's and supply chain agreements.
- Compliance Management: Oversee the Bribery Act compliance processes.
- Training Development: Providing ongoing legal training both online and in person to stakeholders within the group..
- Operational Framework: Support the legal team in managing and evolving the Operational Framework across the Group.
- Data Protection: Ensure ongoing compliance with the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and maintain data protection registrations for the businesses.
- M&A Activity: Aid in M&A activities, ensuring newly-acquired businesses comply with the Group's legal policies and procedures.
- Litigation Support: Coordinate and provide legal advice for any litigation involving the businesses outside of the US.
- Export Control Compliance: Assist with export control compliance and stay updated on relevant developments.
Profile
- A qualified lawyer with at least two years post-qualification experience;
- Experience of drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and advising on such;
- In-house experience desired, though not a must;
- Willingness to work flexibly within a small team;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
