A highly successful international manufacturing company are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join their team. This will be a varied role working in the Quality team in Southampton where you will be supporting the Quality Manager by improving product quality during the manufacturing process, in accordance with ISO90001.

The Quality Engineer Role

This is a very hands on role where you will be working very closely with the Quality Manager, ensuring you meet customer quality expectations. You’ll focus on addressing any quality issues that arise and carry out appropriate solutions to resolve them. You will be liaising with internal and external customers, overseeing customer complaints, ensuring issues are dealt with. Additionally you will be handling ISO internal and external audits, and maintaining management documentations.

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role, you will need to come from a Quality background, ideally from a manufacturing environment and have good knowledge of ISO9001. You’ll need to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong knowledge in MS Office. Previous experience dealing with problem solving and solving-quality related queries is essential.
