An internationally renowned manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. This diverse role, based in Southampton, involves supporting the Quality Manager in enhancing product quality throughout the manufacturing process, in line with ISO 9001 standards.

The Quality Engineer Role

This is a hands-on role where you will collaborate closely with the Quality Manager to meet customer quality expectations. Your primary focus will be to:

  • Identify and resolve any quality issues
  • Communicate with both internal and external customers
  • Managing customer complaints and ensuring they are addressed promptly
  • Handle ISO internal and external audits
  • Maintain relevant management documentation

The Ideal Candidate

To be considered for this role, you should have a background in Quality, preferably within a manufacturing environment, along with a solid understanding of ISO 9001. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is a strong proficiency in MS Office. Previous experience in problem-solving and addressing quality-related issues is also crucial.
