As a Paralegal in the Serious Injury Team, you’ll be part of one of the UK's top personal injury practices, known for securing multi-million-pound settlements. The firm’s holistic approach ensures that clients receive comprehensive support, not just financially, but emotionally and practically as well. Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a skilled team on serious injury cases, providing support to lawyers at all levels.
  • Manage a small caseload of files appropriate to your experience, with guidance from senior colleagues.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for new clients, offering initial advice and maintaining communication throughout the case.
  • Take a leading role in the disclosure process in complex and detailed matters.
  • Attend client meetings, conduct research, and draft relevant legal documents.
  • Contribute to case strategies by sharing insights and working closely with the team to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience as a Paralegal or a strong desire to pursue a legal career
  • Ability to stay calm and proactive under pressure
  • Empathy and confidence in working with vulnerable clients and their families
  • Strong relationship-building skills, both within and outside the team
  • Excellent communication skills and a creative approach to problem-solving
  • Experience in personal injury law or other contentious work
  • Familiarity with time recording and managing a small fee target
