Job Summary:

The Freight Forwarding Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the branch's operations, management, and overall performance. This position entails leading a team, nurturing client relationships and driving the branch's profitability and growth.

Duties:

  • Supervise daily branch operations to ensure smooth and efficient work flows.
  • Develop and implement effective operational strategies and procedures.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to improve operational efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor branch staff.
  • Cultivate a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
  • Address and resolve customer issues and concerns promptly.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the client base.
  • Manage the branch's budget, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure cost-effective practices without compromising service quality.
  • Ensure the branch complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Implement and maintain health and safety standards.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business.
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to drive revenue growth.
