As part of Hampshire County Council's Countryside Service, Manor Farm is a busy family-orientated visitor attraction set within a beautiful heritage setting. Due to our ongoing growth, we require another casual Administrative Assistant to join our friendly Front of House team, to assist in the smooth and efficient running of the visitor experience.

The role is to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all visitors are warmly welcomed and given information about the farm and any events taking place.

You will be expected to engage with visitors, offering them advice and actively promote membership and participation in events. Respond accurately to all enquiries both verbally and in writing. Manage visitor flow, especially when large groups are visiting. To operate a till accurately. To have good standards of personal presentation. To work alongside colleagues and volunteers and have a flexible approach to working in team situations. To assist in evacuation during an emergency, and ensure the safety of visitors, colleagues and volunteers. To comply with all relevant safety policies set out to ensure the safety and welfare of visitors, staff, volunteers and the animals. To monitor stock and display of products and keep the areas clean and well presented. You will be required to stand during your shift.

This is a casual vacancy and will be on an ad-hoc basis; you will be expected to work weekends, bank holidays and other days during the week, with the main demand being school holidays and covering staff annual leave.

To be successful you will have excellent customer service skills and experience of interacting with the general public. Confident with money handling, taking payments of cash and credit cards. Good communication and organisational skills. Be familiar with IT applications and ideally have previous experience in a similar role or environment.
