High-tech manufacturer require a Fulfilment Planner to work within their supply chain team. The role has a mix of; production planning, order management/fulfilment and materials planning tasks. The position is available on a 12 month FTC.

The Fulfilment Planner will report to the Fulfilment Manager and be responsible for supporting order management and production planning activities in MRP/ERP and ensuring effective material flows. The Supply Chain Planner would not need experience in all of thee areas, but an understanding of supply chain, customer services and MRP/ERP systems would be beneficial.

Specific duties of the Fulfilment Planner include:

  • Monitor customer service inbox for general enquires and new orders. Communicate order acknowledgments
  • Process orders within the ERP system, ensuring this is carried out in a timely manner and in-line with departmental KPI's and the contract review process
  • Generate and manage works orders within the ERP system
  • Handle and resolve customer queries and escalations
  • Coordinate with production teams, supply chain and other departments to ensure on-time delivery of products
  • Monitor progress of production plan, identify shortages/bottlenecks and communicate changes/updates
  • Manage KPI's relating to on-time delivery and product lead-times

Fulfilment Planner applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Previous experience in supply chain, order management, customer service, production planning or materials planning
  • IT literate, strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Comfortable working on a 12 month FTC basis
