Site Manager for 100+ Unit New House Build

Location: Southampton

Salary: Up to £75,000 depending on experience

Site Manager role required on a large scale new house build project in Southampton.

Responsibilities and Role
- Reporting to either an on-site Project Manager or a visiting Contracts Manager, depending on the project requirements.
- Effective management of sub-contractors, ensuring efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Conducting quality checks on the work carried out, ensuring adherence to the highest standards.
- Working in line with the programme set by the Project Manager, ensuring project milestones are met.

Requirements:
- Background in trades or construction, with a relevant degree or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a comparable company.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the building process, including a thorough understanding of general Building Regulations.
- Possession of SMSTS certification.
- First aid qualification.
- CSCS card holder at Manager level.
- Safety training in Construction Site Safety.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
