Are you an Overhead Crane Engineer looking for an to become an established member within a rapidly growing UK division of a multinational group?

This company has been established since 1980, growing and establishing itself as a market leader within the Lifting Equipment industry. Providing into a multitude of industries around the world, the Southampton site predominantly sells into the marine industry, constantly expanding its client base around the port.

This role will see the successful candidate travel to a variety of customer sites to perform inspections, diagnosis, repairs and maintenance of overhead cranes. The role will suit an individual who can demonstrate accurate written and verbal communication skills, regularly updating the client on progress in a concise manner.

The Role:

  • 40 hour week, 08:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday
  • Providing examinations and fault finding services on a range of overhead cranes, hoists and lifting equipment at customer sites
  • Utilising a mixture of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge to repair and maintain cranes and lifting equipment
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations
  • Execute repairs on faulty or defective components
  • Occasionally lodge when required (travel, accommodation and food provided)
  • Communicate effectively with the client, managers and other relevant individuals on the progress of work

The Person:

  • Proven mechanical and electrical capabilities
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Full UK Driving Licence
