We are seeking a dedicated Production Technician with expertise in Carbon Fibre Winding to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out production processes associated with the assembly and testing of Carbon Fibre products. This role is ideal for someone who is skilled in multi-axis machine operation and has a background in electro-mechanical engineering.



Day to Day of the role:

  • Operate multi-axis machines for carbon fibre winding and other equipment for production and testing.
  • Assemble and test electro-mechanical machine assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Set up machines and equipment for operation and perform initial investigations into malfunctions, making repairs and adjustments as required.
  • Maintain general housekeeping and contribute to the improvement of production areas.
  • Work within a small cross-functional team and support various production operations as necessary.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in carbon fibre winding machine operation.
  • Experience in electro-mechanical fitting is desirable.
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Excellent communication skills and IT literacy, competent with Microsoft Office applications.
  • High level of care and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to achieving objectives.
  • Proactive in providing suggestions and ideas for operational improvements.
  • Open to feedback and focused on personal development.
  • Initiative and persistence in completing tasks.
  • Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and individually.
  • Compliance with company best working practices and health and safety procedures.
  • Level 3 diploma in electro-mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience in carbon fibre winding.
