Your Company:NET Recruit are partnering with a highly successful HVAC business to assist them on their search for a Service Technician to cover the Southern Region. Due to sustained success, spanning over a number of years, this business has continued to grow, not only its workforce but also the customer base in which it operates, becoming a leader within its industry. With a clientele that have come to expect a high level of service from this business, which it prides itself on always delivering, the company are searching for driven and dedicated individuals to join their team to ensure this quality is maintained. This role will prove to be vital within the business, joining the Service Technician Team, to ensure that products and equipment are serviced and performing correctly. As a result of the hard work conducted by the team, the business can continue their growth and continuously improve on the quality of the service they are delivering. This role will involve travelling across the Southern Region of the UK.Role and ResponsibilitiesWhile in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Proactively diagnosing and seeking to fix system problems when servicing assigned products and equipment, ensuring that customer satisfaction is met at all times
  • Resolving routine and predictable problems
  • Striving to provide services that meet customer needs in the most cost effective manner
  • Conducting scheduled and preventative maintenance services on assigned equipment and products
  • Working collaboratively and cohesively with other internal departments, regarding ongoing issues that arise from servicing, ensuring that these are resolved as quickly as possible and in conjunction with the relevant teams when needed
  • Ensuring that strong communication with customers is upheld at all times, including discovering their needs, listening to requests and keeping them up to date with progress on servicing regularly
  • Utilising all tools at your disposal, including technology, software and physical equipment to diagnose and repair faults with products
  • Maintaining servicing tools and equipment used, to ensure these are in a working condition for when they are required as part of the role
What You Will Need To Apply:To be considered for this exciting role, you should be FGas qualified and possess a NVQ or other Engineering qualification/degree. Additionally, you should have excellent previous experience working within a comparable technician role, ideally within the HVAC/Engineering industry. You'll need to have strong communication abilities to work cohesively with internal and external teams, as well as being able to communicate effectively with customers.
