Clinical Administrator

Location: Southampton

Salary: £13.13 per hour

Hours: Temp to Perm, Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Tru Talent is excited to offer an opportunity for a Clinical Administrator to join a specialist healthcare provider. In this role, you will provide crucial administrative support to Clinical Managers, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the service.

Responsibilities of the Clinical Administrator:

  • Maintain clinical records, including archiving, filing, and creating new care files.
  • Provide charts and complete KPI reports as required.
  • Order clinical supplies as requested by the Clinical Manager.
  • Assist in clinical and RADAR audits.
  • Support HR with sickness interviews and supervise record coordination.
  • Manage staff rotas, including adding new staff, removing leavers, processing swaps, and coordinating with agencies for shift coverage.
  • Coordinate skill mix and external resident appointments.
  • Process letters to GPs and health professionals.
  • Perform general administrative tasks and cover reception as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and company policies, including confidentiality, health, and safety.
  • Support training compliance and assist with meeting minute-taking.
  • Participate in mandatory training and professional development.

Requirements of the Clinical Administrator:

  • Minimum of one year of administrative experience.
  • Valid driving license and own vehicle (due to location).
  • Ability to provide a satisfactory enhanced DBS (processed upon employment).
  • Experience in healthcare or a transferable industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
