As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be working within the Safeguarding Jigsaw team, providing assessments, interventions, and therapeutic support to children and young people with complex needs. You will also play a key role in safeguarding children and supporting multi-disciplinary collaboration to ensure the best possible outcomes for service users.
Your Responsibilities:- Undertaking comprehensive assessments and therapeutic interventions for children and young people with disabilities
- Working collaboratively with social care teams, families, and other professionals to deliver tailored care plans
- Leading on safeguarding initiatives, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people
- Providing clinical leadership and mentoring to junior staff
- Promoting independence and inclusion in educational, social, and home environments
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration
- Strong experience in children's services, ideally with a focus on safeguarding and disabilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive and compassionate approach
