Multi-Trade Operative - Temp to Perm
Location: Site-based across Hampshire (Southampton, Portsmouth, Gosport etc.)
Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week, with out-of-hours on-call.
Start Date: January
We are seeking a dedicated Multi-Trade Operative to join our team, working on a responsive repairs contract for social housing tenanted properties. This role is diverse and customer-focused, allowing you to collaborate with a supportive team to deliver high-quality service. Our central support team will help organise your daily tasks to meet customer needs, while minimising travel time, allowing you to make the most of each day. The role will have a strong emphasis on carpentry and joinery, ensuring that properties are maintained to a high, liveable standard. You will support our responsive repairs team, with a varied workload and daily tasks that keep no two days the same.

Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake general maintenance and repairs across tenanted properties, with a focus on carpentry and joinery.
- Carry out repairs to doors, windows, kitchens, bathrooms, and general handyman tasks to ensure properties are fully functional.
- Use job tickets or a handheld device to track tasks through a live shared system.
- Always deliver an excellent customer experience, understanding you are working in people's homes.
Essential Experience:
- Proven multi-trade background, with strong carpentry and joinery skills.
- Experience with general maintenance, repairs, and refurbishments in tenanted properties.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage your day efficiently.
