Join our Clients team as a Yard Operative and play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient running of our their Centre. This position is ideal for someone who is physically fit and committed to maintaining high standards and organisation, ensuring that equipment is ready and safe for customers use.
Day-to-day of the role:- Clean and prepare equipment for hire.
- Check and store off-hired equipment accurately.
- Assist the fitting team with installations
- Move and install furniture
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised yard, workshop, and storage areas.
- Liaise with customers daily during the loading and unloading of equipment, providing excellent customer service.
- Physical fitness to perform daily tasks effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Organised and punctual, with the ability to complete duties on schedule.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to engage in training and development.
- Commitment to health and safety standards; knowledge of PPE and COSHH is advantageous.
