Sonic Summary

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist for a logistics and transport organization on an initial 18-24 month fixed-term contract.
This role involves processing in-house payroll monthly, supporting the design of a new payroll system, and maintaining current payroll processes.
Candidates should have in-depth knowledge of UK payroll regulations, proficiency in payroll software, and experience with payroll system implementation is desirable.
The position offers a salary of £48,327 and requires candidates to have experience in payroll processing.
The role includes hybrid working, flexible hours, and a collaborative environment, with interviews and hiring taking place ASAP.

We are partnered with a logistics & transport organisation who are currently seeking an Payroll Specialist to join them on an initial 18-24 month FTC.

Sitting within Finance and working closely with HR, this role will be solely responsible for processing the inhouse payroll on a monthly basis from end to end.

Responsibilities include:

Supporting the design and delivery of a new payroll system
Maintaining all current payroll processes
Processing a small director and non-executive director payroll
Manage the end to end internal payroll process
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records relating to payroll transactions
Act as a primary point of contact for payroll-related queries

Experience required:

In-depth knowledge of UK payroll regulations and compliance requirements
Proficiency in UK payroll software, including Excel
Experience with a new payroll system implementation is desirable
