Title: Senior payroll AssistantSalary: Up to £30,000Location: Southampton , Hampshire JGA are delighted to be working with a successful organisation looking to add a Senior Payroll Assistant to its team!Responsibilities include:
  • Process payroll using Sage 50 Payroll software
  • Manage end-to-end payroll for both 4-weekly and monthly cycles
  • Enter and update payroll data, including new starters and changes
  • Handle payroll queries via phone and email
  • Perform manual calculations for under/overpayments
  • Identify & implement payroll process improvement
Skills & experience required:
  • Experience using Sage 50 Payroll (preferred)
  • At least 1 year of end-to-end payroll processing experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Confident in managing complex payroll in a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvement
