Job Details:- Location: Southampton
- Role: Locum Pharmacy Technician (Band 5)
- Pay Rate: £18-£21 per hour
- Duration: Ongoing contract
- Shift Pattern: Full-time, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
- Provide dispensary services, including the accurate dispensing of medication and supplies to patients
- Support Medicines Management Technician (MMT) services, ensuring the safe and effective use of medicines in clinical areas
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
- Conduct regular medication reviews and assist in the reconciliation of patients' medication
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and professional standards
- Assist in stock control and ordering of medications
- GPhC registration as a Pharmacy Technician
- Previous hospital-based experience in both dispensary and MMT roles
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medication
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital environment
