Job Description Compliance Administrator Location: Any Line Manager: Head of Compliance & Safeguarding / Branch Managers / Regional Compliance Manager / Branch Compliance Manager Role Definition/The Role: Ensuring compliance with legislation, Government guidance, professional standards, best practice and auditing bodies. Promoting safer recruitment - which not only protects the company but safeguards children and adults at risk. Key Responsibilities Ensuring compliance with all legislation, sector changes and company policies/procedures, as implemented by Head of Compliance & Safeguarding. Candidate documentation, safeguarding and vetting checks in line with safer recruitment, professional standards, statutory guidance, government legislation, framework/client contracts and company procedures. This includes: Acquiring and checking all required original documentation Right to Work checks Identity checks Enhanced DBS checks Overseas police checks, where applicable Employment history checks Reference checks Qualification and prohibition checks Up to date training Obtaining placement feedback Chasing candidates and consultants for outstanding documentation. Answering any questions from consultants - with a continued focus on raising the general level of safeguarding and compliance knowledge across all teams. Highlighting or escalating areas of concern including those that may pose a safeguarding risk. Liaison with professional bodies, Local Authorities and clients where applicable. Data input and database maintenance. Essential Skills & Attributes Self-motivated Proactive Willing to go above and beyond Committed to safeguarding A team player Professional Enthusiastic Personable, confident and able to build relationships Excellent time management Meticulous Excellent written and oral communication skills Experience Experience working within the Education compliance sector desirable however not essential. Safeguarding trained desirable however not essential. Excellent knowledge of IT software (for example word, excel) and CRM systems if applicable.
