This role would be ideal for any experience legal compliance professional looking to take on a new challenge, bring their expertise and know how to a waiting team and really make an impression!

The firm is a very well established legal 500 name, one of the larger practices in the region with offices across The Southcoast and a London presence. They're looking for an enthusiastic and organised Compliance Manager to fully involve themselves in all aspects of the role and maintain existing high standards and improve and adapt to any future change requirements.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Support the practice in navigating the legal regulatory landscape with confidence.

  • Deal with complex compliance queries

  • Identify trends or patterns of concern

  • Take pre-emptive action to avoid serious contravention.

  • Manage policy, practices, key documents and risk registers

  • Lead on accreditations (e.g.Lexcel and CQS etc)

  • Monitor regulatory and legislative change and implement required changes

  • Coordinate and deliver compliance training

You will have a great working relationship with the Head of Risk & Operations, to maintain a culture of continuous improvement which will see you engaging with multiple stakeholders across the practice. This a really involved role and provides all sorts of interesting challenges and an opportunity for someone to really become part of the fabric of the practice!
