Academics are recruiting on behalf of a 'Good' Primary School in Southampton who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage One Teacher (KS1). This is a full-time, fixed term maternity contract to start ASAP.

The suitable KS1 Teacher will possess excellent classroom practice and have an outstanding ability to engage and enthuse children. It is also important you have the ability to develop secure relationships with children, colleagues and families.

You will be required to build on the basic numeracy and literacy skills developed in the KS1 class. Your role is to help pupils develop reading skills, improve their creativity in writing fictional stories and poetry, and teach them mathematical computations.

As this is a contract role, you will be required to carry out full teaching responsibilities. The school encourage their staff to bring fresh ideas into the classroom, ensuring engaging and dynamic lessons.
