It is worth noting that working as a supply teacher can be a flexible and rewarding way to work in education, as it allows you to experience teaching in a variety of different schools and settings.

Due to the current challenges with staffing shortages, schools are requiring a high volume of day to day and short term supply teachers. We are looking for teachers to cover for planned and last minute absences, in a variety of different subjects.

Cover work is provided to a very high standard and there is no expectation to plan lessons, mark and assess.

This position is ideal if you are looking to gain more experience before applying for more permanent job opportunities. Supply teaching is a great way to get a foot in the door to work in local Schools.

This position is open to experienced teachers, as well as those newly qualified.

About the Supply Teacher Position:

  • Excellent daily rates at £110-£140

The Successful Supply Teachers will have/be:

  • Strong classroom management skills while providing an inclusive learning environment
  • Confidence while teaching across Key stages 1-2
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Hold high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
  • Posses strong interpersonal skills while communicating with parents, pupils and staff

To be Eligible the Supply Teacher must have/be:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Proof of eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • The ability to provide two professional references that cover the last two years of employment
  • Hold a fully enhanced DBS certificates (child workforce only) that is registered to the Update Service, or be willing to complete one
