About the School:
Supply Desk are currently recruiting on the behalf of a Primary School in Southampton who are looking to recruit a Year R, ECT Class Teacher to start in September. This is a long- term position where you will be teaching KS1 in a Primary school that was graded “Good” in all areas in their latest Ofsted inspection. This is for a new Year R team and although an ECT is needed, this candidate will need experience working with Year R in placements.
Job Specifications:
- Suitable for an ECT
- Good support from SLT and the wider school community
- Implement and deliver a balanced and differentiated curriculum for all pupils, incorporating the National Curriculum.
- Have a strong knowledge of teaching phonics.
- Facilitate, support, and monitor the overall progress and development of all students.
- Foster a learning environment that provides pupils with the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
