About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 5 Teacher to join our school in Southampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a significant impact on the learning and development of primary school students. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, creating an engaging learning environment, and fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver effective lessons that meet the national curriculum guidelines for Year 5.
  • Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans for students with specific educational needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support students' overall development.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching Year 5
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and a collaborative working style.
