Role Overview:As a Year 6 Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting and inspiring students during this crucial stage of their education. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that challenge and motivate students, preparing them academically and emotionally for their next steps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Prepare students for SATs and support their academic development.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active learning.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 6.
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and SATs preparation.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Enthusiasm, dedication, and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
