Assembly & Test Technician

We currently have afantastic opportunity for anAssembly & TestTechnician for a leading engineering company based in Netley, Southampton.

Introduction

The primary role of the Assembly & Test Technician will be to provide support to the engineering team with mechanical testing as well as the assembly, repair build of the site's products to high specifications.

Responsibilities:

Setting up, preparation and testing mechanical assemblies.
Recording and processing test result data
Maintain strict company health and safety guidelines

Ideal Experience:

Previous experience withinmechanical assembly or mechanical test
Ability to use hand tools
Ability to readassembly / engineering drawings and work to instructions
Attention to detail
IT literate with Excel, Word, Powerpoint
Any experience with composites, hydraulics, or 3D CAD would be an advantage

Hours:Day Shift - Flex on start and finish times

Salary:£25,400 - £30,000
