Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Process Technologist to join their business.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Plan, organise, and oversee product trials - from scaling up NPD recipes to coordinating with production and purchasing teams to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
* Lead process discussions during pre-productions and first productions, ensuring products meet customer expectations and critical paths are achieved.
* Build strong relationships with the NPD team, providing technical input to guide product development, troubleshoot potential process issues, and ensure seamless factory scale-ups.
* Attend customer meetings to present trial samples and first production sign-offs, confidently discussing process details and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
* Proactively identify and resolve process-related issues during trials and production, maintaining accurate records and sharing trial reports with key stakeholders.
* Support quality panels to guarantee products align with customer-approved specifications and quality standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
* Keep project trackers updated, ensuring critical tasks and actions are met to support successful product launches.
* Assist the Technical team during audits, representing process development to uphold food safety, quality, and technical excellence.
