We are excited to be working with a fantastic reputable business who are looking for a QHSE Officer to join their small friendly team! This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join an established business and make this role their own. Our client is situated in the Totton area of Hampshire and is close to public transport links.

The Role:

Our client is looking to recruit someone previous QHSE experience with recent experience in dealing with internal and external audits. This role would suit someone that has experience of working within the electronics manufacturing industry, however this is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing & implementing safety programs by administer supply chain selection, management & reviews
  • Conducting risk assessments to ensure an effective ISO accredited Quality System is in operation
  • Managing HCS audits by external accreditors and client appointed organisations
  • Investigating incidents and accidents by performing management and product audits to ensure conformance of the Quality System
  • Monitoring and reporting Safety Performance Indicators by liaising with the Production Manager/Suppliers and Customers on specific quality matters

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge and experience within HCS audits
  • Product knowledge within ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001
  • IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications (open to NEBOSH training for the right person)
  • Internal auditor trained
  • Quality management diploma qualification would be an advantage
  • 3 years + experience within an QHSE role or similar with experience of working with external auditors
  • Electronics manufacturing experience would be an advantage

Hours:

Working hours are 09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday.
