  • Rate:聽拢30p/hour (always subject to skills/experience)
  • Hours:聽42-45 per week
Candidate Requirements:
  • SSSTS
  • Emergency First Aid at Work Certification
  • Relevant Apprenticeship/NVQ/C&G etc.
  • Previous water sector experience is essential
  • Demonstratable experience as a supervisor
  • Experience with working on mechanical assets, rotating equipment, pumps/motors, pipework/valves.
Job Outline:
  • Manage the daily operations of the site mechanical team, including task allocation, tooling management, and handling paperwork.
  • Lead inductions, daily briefings, and toolbox talks for site teams.
  • Offer first-line support on site-specific health, safety, and compliance matters.
  • Oversee site-based activities, including client communication, providing daily updates to the Project Manager, and reporting any site-related issues.
  • Identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure all tasks are performed in full compliance with Health and Safety standards, risk assessments, and applicable regulations.
  • Report and document any incidents or near misses occurring under your supervision.
  • Communicate with the client and/or main contractor as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support and guidance to site teams.
  • Ensure the appropriate permits are in place and that related documentation is completed accurately and to a high standard.
