Production Supervisor Assistants Wanted - (Food Production Sector)

Full-time, temporary to permanent, (5-days a week) on a designated early or late shift/ not alternating.

Hourly Pay Rate: Up £14ph Including Attendance Bonus.

Based outside of central Southampton (own transport essential)

Shift Pattern on Early shift: Monday to Friday - 03:00 to 12:00pm

Shift Pattern on Late Shift: Monday to Friday - 18:00 to 03:00am

We are currently supporting a well-established food production company with the recruitment experienced food production operatives who would be prepared to carry out manual tasks and support & assist the supervisor during shifts.

With the added responsibilities comes the uplift in hourly pay rate, and including attendance bonus you can earn up to £14 per hour.

The role will be based outside central Southampton and will be working in a chilled temperature-controlled environment with responsibilities to include the following:

• Manually moving items (between 5-20kg) from cold storage into production and packing items for despatch.
• Organising staff patterns and supporting the shift mangers.
• Assisting with the production of food items and checking quality.
• Covering and supporting the supervisor with the daily running of the shop floor.
• Assisting with making products and working in a team.

Suitable candidates will need to have a food production background, experience of supervising staff and be physically fit and able as the role will be standing and lifting.

This role is ongoing and will become temporary to permanent for the right candidate.

Transport would be preferred for this role due to the rural location.
