Your New Role:
As a Council Project Manager, you will oversee and manage various projects within the council, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will coordinate with different departments, stakeholders, and external contractors to achieve project goals. Key responsibilities include project planning, stakeholder management, team coordination, risk management, budget management, quality assurance, reporting, and problem-solving.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Council Experience is essential*
- Experience delivering a variety of Council projects
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within a council or public sector environment.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative. Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy and work effectively with diverse groups.
