Assistant Procurement Officer

Carbon60 are looking to recruit a Part Time Assistant Procurement Officer in Southampton.

Location: Southampton (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: 18.27 - 20.48 per hour (38,000-42,600 Pro Rata)

Contract: Temporary ongoing (minimum of 3 months)

Hours: 3 Days per week (flexible on days)

The Role:

• Use of e-procurement tender portals
• Supporting the health and care category procurement team to delivery end to end procurement processes.
• Achieve value for money in a timely and efficient manner
• Support the procurement team with administrative tasks

The Successful Candidate:

• Excellent team working skills
• Ability to develop and manage close working relationships
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
• Competent using e-procurement techniques
• Experience in using e tendering portals
• Experience in using Microsoft teams and SharePoint is an advantage
