We're on the lookout for a Quality Technologist to join our fast-paced food manufacturing client, where innovation meets excellence. What you'll be doing:
* Ensure Food Safety & Compliance - Monitor manufacturing processes to guarantee adherence to HACCP, BRC, and retailer technical standards.
* Conduct Product Inspections - Perform quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and final goods to meet defined specifications.
* Support Audits - Assist in internal and external audits (including BRC, retailer, and customer audits), and drive audit readiness at all times.
* Non-Conformance Management - Investigate quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Documentation & Traceability - Maintain accurate QC records, ensure full traceability, and support document control systems.
* Collaborate Cross-Functionally - Work closely with production, NPD, and technical teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
* Customer Complaint Handling - Support in complaint investigations, trend analysis, and implementing preventative actions.
* Champion GMP & Hygiene - Promote a culture of Good Manufacturing Practice and hygiene excellence across the site.
What you'll need:
* Previous experience in a food manufacturing quality role
* Strong understanding of HACCP, BRC, food hygiene, and quality systems
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-care environment
