Role: Senior Quantity SurveyorLocation: SouthamptonSalary: £50,000 to £66,000 + hybrid working + car & packageAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor in Southampton. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will quickly become an integral part of the business and take responsibility for the end to end commercial management of projects including water storage, waste water treatment and pumping stations across Hampshire.Working closely with the Commercial Manager, the Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing the commercial plan to ensure profitability and minimal risk
  • Measurement and valuation of works for valuations, variations and final account negotiations
  • Develop and submit documents for claims for delay and disruption including loss and/or expense
  • Procurement of subcontractors and provide support to the buying, estimating, design and project teams across the region
  • Provide commercial and contractual support to others on the projects where required

Requirements
