Are you a friendly and highly organised professional with exceptional communication skills? RecQuest are working on behalf of a reputable law firm in Bishops Waltham to find a welcoming and hard-working Receptionist. This is a fantastic opportunity to be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, delivering outstanding service in a professional and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients and visitors, ensuring a warm and professional welcome in person and over the phone.
  • Manage the switchboard, directing calls and taking accurate messages when necessary.
  • Maintain the reception area to ensure it is tidy, presentable, and stocked with relevant materials.
  • Support the firm’s administrative functions, including photocopying, scanning, and typing correspondence.
  • Manage daily logs for client visits, staff attendance, and incoming/outgoing post.
  • Assist with document preparation, bundling, and packaging as needed.
  • Provide general support to fee earners, secretaries, and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the office.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist or customer-facing role is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: A friendly, professional telephone manner and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Organisation: Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail to manage daily tasks efficiently.
  • Flexibility: A proactive and adaptable attitude to support both clients and the team.
  • Tech-Savvy: Confidence with office equipment and basic IT systems, including Microsoft Office.
