Role Overview

As a Senior Education Recruitment Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in our success by leading the recruitment process for teachers and teaching assistants. You will be responsible for managing existing client relationships, developing new business, and guiding candidates through the recruitment process. Your expertise will ensure that our clients receive the best service and that our candidates find fulfilling and rewarding positions in education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, understanding their staffing needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Identify, attract, and engage with top talent, including teachers and teaching assistants, through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
  • End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full recruitment process from initial client briefing and candidate sourcing to interviews, offers, and placement.
  • Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities with schools and educational institutions, expanding our client base.
  • Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to junior consultants, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them succeed.
  • Compliance: Ensure all candidates are fully compliant with legal and regulatory requirements before placement.

About You

  • Experience: Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within the education sector, with a strong understanding of the challenges and demands of placing teaching staff in schools.
  • Sales-Driven: A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and candidates alike.
  • Organised: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Passionate: A genuine passion for education and making a positive impact in the sector.
