- Building relationships with candidates and clients, engaging with people to understand their needs and match them with the right opportunities
- Learning the industry – gaining an in-depth knowledge of recruiting in the accounting and finance world, from sourcing candidates to placing them in their dream roles
- Collaborating – working closely with the supportive team, sharing insights and celebrating wins together
- Supporting Consultants in the daily management of live vacancies before managing your own
- Leading daily candidate interviews (via telephone/video/in person)
- Offering support and providing advice to candidates on their career/job search
- Identifying and building new client relationships, as well as developing existing ones
- Business development and sales activities to generate new vacancies
- Identifying business leads and following up on them
- Keeping the customised system up-to-date and accurate
- Driving initiatives for value-add services to ensure a positive candidate and client experience
- People-oriented – you enjoy interacting with others and can talk to anyone. This role involves a lot of phone calls and face-to-face interactions
- Motivated to learn – we’ll teach you everything, but you’ve got to want it
- Drive and motivation with a desire to learn and earn more money!
- Experience of working in a customer service/sales/recruitment role would be a bonus but it’s not essential so don’t let that put you off applying!
