We are seeking a Senior Hire Controller to join our clients team based near Southampton. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering best-in-class service and has the expertise to maximise upselling opportunities. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their satisfaction from enquiry to post-hire feedback.

This role will be temporary to permanent, with an immediate start date. Office based with full time hours, Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5pm.  

Day to Day of the role:

  • Communicate with customers via email, website requests and phone ensuring all interactions are handled with high-quality service.
  • Manage the entire order process, from enquiry to post-hire feedback, taking full ownership of the customer journey.
  • Build and maintain relationships with regular customers, understanding their needs and ensuring their expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Coordinate daily deliveries and collections within the depot, ensuring efficiency and timeliness.
  • Work collaboratively in a busy but friendly team environment, planning and organising to meet the team’s objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a customer service role.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
  • Experience in managing orders and coordinating deliveries and collections.
  • Ability to upsell products or services through expert knowledge and customer understanding.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with a talent for multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences.
