The below job description will outline this position of: Business Development Manager (home based)

You could be: Sales Executive. Sales Manager, Business Development Executive, Business Development Manager, Key Account Manager, Applications Engineer, Sales Engineer or even a current Field Service Engineer wanting to move into a sales role.

My client will look at Sales Managers who have sole Generator Packages, Spares and Service to the Land and/Or offshore market.

Typically, this person will take responsibility for the new business development, account management and aftersales covering standby and rental generators, UPS systems, LV control panels and associated equipment within the industry - your patch is covers from Dorset to Kent, up to Birmingham and everything in between.

HSB Technicals client is a very established and well-regarded business entity.

Duties and responsibilities of the Business Development Manager (home based):

  • Respond to inbound enquiries in a timely and efficient manner
  • Site visits creating customer bonds, loyalty and return business
  • Ability to sell not only generators (both standby and rental - note, containerised generator sets also sold as an extra) - but also the spare parts and service packages associated
  • Ability to deliver presentations in front of new/perspective clients
  • Account management and upsell into these clients
  • Happy to be on the road visit clients such as building sites, hospital, attractions, data centres and more


Qualifications and requirement for the Business Development Manager (home based):

  • Full UK Driving licence
