Our client, a leading logistics provider, is looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager - Sea & Air Freight to join their growing team. If you have a strong background in international logistics, a passion for sales, and a proven track record in business development, this opportunity is for you!

About the Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth, building strategic relationships, and expanding our client's market presence in the sea and air freight sector. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities and developing sales strategies that align with the company's expansion goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within sea and air freight.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, freight forwarders, and carriers.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients and partners.
  • Prepare and present proposals, reports, and sales forecasts to senior management.
  • Stay updated with industry developments and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development within sea and air freight logistics.
  • Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, trade routes, and market trends.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A network of contacts within the logistics and freight forwarding industry is a plus.
