We are seeking dynamic and reliable Cover Supervisors to join our team, providing essential support to secondary schools across Southampton. This is a flexible, temporary role ideal for anyone looking to work on a day-to-day or short-term basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Ensure a calm, focused learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour, following school policies and procedures.
  • Support students' learning and encourage their engagement.
  • Provide feedback to the regular teaching staff on the lessons covered.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Ability to work in a flexible, temporary capacity.
  • A positive attitude, patience, and adaptability.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
