About the Role:
- Position: Design and Technology (D&T) Teacher
- Location: Southampton, UK
- Start Date: 06/11/2025
- Contract Type: Full time
- Salary: 31,650 - 43,607 dependant on experience.
As a D&T Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, inspiring students to develop their technical and creative skills. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking school environment that values innovation and hands-on learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality D&T lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
- Support students in developing practical and theoretical skills in areas such as product design, resistant materials, graphics, or textiles.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the department's resources and curriculum.
About You:

- A qualified teacher status (QTS).
- A strong background in Design and Technology education.
