About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Languages Teacher to join our dedicated team at a vibrant secondary school in Southampton. This is a full-time position teaching Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) at Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inspiring MFL lessons (specialisms in French, Spanish, or German preferred).
- Foster a love for languages and cultural awareness in students.
- Plan, assess, and track progress to support student success.
- Create an inclusive, dynamic classroom environment where all students can thrive.
- Contribute to the school's extracurricular and cultural activities.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant subject.
- Specialism in one or more modern foreign languages.
- A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of students.
