Quantum Scholars are excited to be working alongside a secondary school based in Southamptonthat is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join their school in September 2025. This will be on a Long-Term contract lasting for 1 academic year.

The school hiring are a mixed comprehensive secondary school. They pride themselves on high expectations rewarding individual talents and progress. They're rated as a "Good" school from Ofsted.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality history lessons tailored to the secondary school curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and progress.
  • Assess and monitor student achievement, providing constructive feedback to ensure improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning and school initiatives.
  • Maintain excellent classroom management and uphold school policies.

In order to apply you will need to be a qualified teacher and have strong experience teaching Humanities at secondary school level(11-16 years old). You must be available for September 2025 and have a right to work in the UK!
