Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning & Delivery: Design and implement dynamic lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities. Utilize a variety of teaching methods to make maths engaging and relevant.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Regularly assess student understanding through formative and summative assessments. Provide timely and constructive feedback to help students improve and excel.
  • Student Support: Foster a supportive classroom environment where students feel safe to express their ideas and ask questions. Identify students who may need additional support and collaborate with special educational needs (SEN) staff.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the maths curriculum. Stay updated with the latest educational trends and integrate them into your teaching.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teachers and staff to create interdisciplinary projects and promote a cohesive approach to education.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Participate in and promote maths-related extracurricular activities, such as clubs, competitions, and workshops, to further engage students in the subject.
