Supply Desk is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded Secondary School in Southampton, seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to start in September 2024. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent, where you will teach Maths across KS3 and KS4. The school received a “Good” rating in all areas in its latest Ofsted inspection.
Overview:
Supply Desk is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a supportive department in a Secondary School based in Southampton on a long-term contract, with the possibility of a permanent position. The successful candidate will be teaching Maths to students in KS3 and KS4. The school is open to considering non-specialist Maths teachers with experience teaching Maths in secondary schools.

This mixed Secondary School in Southampton caters to students aged 11 to 16 years, with a total enrolment of around 1000 students. Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
- Experience working with secondary school students is desirable but not essential.
