About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our vibrant schools in Southampton, starting January 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that inspire students and foster a love for scientific inquiry.

As a Science Teacher, you will be committed to promoting high standards of academic achievement and supporting students in their learning journey. You will have the opportunity to work with a supportive team, contributing to the development of a dynamic curriculum that prepares students for success in their exams and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support to ensure academic growth.
  • Develop and implement differentiated learning plans to meet the needs of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Science curriculum.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities.
  • Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Science or a related field.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Science.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • The ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
