We are seeking a dedicated Science Specialist to join a Secondary School based in the Southampton. The post would suit an experienced teacher or someone new to the profession who is looking for the opportunity to work in a successful and supportive department. The successful applicant will be supported by an experienced Head of Faculty and an excellent team, with teamwork and collaboration being central to what they do. The department boasts excellent outcomes for students and take up on courses is excellent.

You must have a science related degree, QTS and experience in a UK secondary setting to be considered for this position.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Qualified teacher status.
  • Previous experience teaching science or related subjects, preferably at the secondary level.
  • Passion for science education and a commitment to inspiring curiosity and lifelong learning in students.
  • Strong knowledge of scientific concepts, laboratory procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
