Mobile Plant Fitter
Location: Southampton
Hours:38.5 per week
Our client, a full-service distributor and after-sales specialist of construction machinery, is seeking an experienced and qualified mobile plant fitter/engineer to join their team servicing heavy plant equipment in Southampton and surrounding areas.
The Role:
- Service, repair, and overhaul heavy mobile plant machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools.
- Install software updates and complete real-time electronic reports.
- Order parts as needed
Qualification and Skills requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Plant, Agricultural, HGV or Mechanical Engineering.
- Mechanical experience with construction heavy plant or agricultural machinery.
- Advanced knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics and electronics.
- Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
