The Role:
Silcom Recruitment is currently seeking a motivated and driven individual to join a family-owned dealership group. The successful candidate will be an experienced Service Manager or an ambitious individual ready to step up from roles such as Assistant Aftersales Manager, Front of House Manager, or Senior Service Advisor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aftersales service operations and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
This role will report into the Aftersales Manager who will regularly be on site to support the successful individual in this position.
Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Manager:
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate the service department team, ensuring high levels of performance and job satisfaction.
Customer Service: Maintain a customer-first approach, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
Operational Management: Oversee daily service operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and ensuring efficient use of resources, whilst supported by the Aftersales Manager.
Training & Development: Identify training needs and provide guidance to team members, fostering professional growth and skills enhancement.
Quality Control: Ensure that all work meets dealership and manufacturer standards for quality and safety.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports on service performance, customer feedback, and staff development for senior management.
Package:
£37,000 basic salary + KPI Bonus (OTE to be discussed with the hiring manager at interview)
Hours: Monday – Friday [8:00am – 6:00pm]
(1-in-8) Saturdays [8:00am – 12:00pm].
